Course content

The course will give an introduction to analysis and design of electronic systems for digital signal pocessing and energy efficient control of electrical energy conversion systems. Methods for mathematical modelling of system elements and methods for utilizing Digital Signal Processors(DSP)and other components for control of power electronic converters will be covered. A laboratory project with individually designed laboratory exercises will help the student to practice the information presented.

Learning outcome

The course aims to give knowledge about design of control systems for electrical energy conversion.

The course is given every second year, next time spring 2012.
