Course content
FI3203 is a literary study of the texts that will serve as the theoretical fundament of the master theses.
Learning outcome
Establish a theoretical fundament for the master thesis based on the curriculum for the masters thesis.
Learning methods and activities
Seminars and self-study. In addition the student must present the essay or draft version thereof at the department's masters seminar (alternatively some other departmental forum).
In order to sit the written exam, the essay must be handed in. Students are strongly advised to submit a draft version of their essay to their teacher/supervisor for feedback prior to final submission. In case of retake, students must redo both the exam and the essay. The essay must be submitted in 3 hard copies no later than 14 pm at the Department office on the deadline of admission (contact your department). The essay should have a total length of 20-30 pages using 12-point Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing. Front cover must contain the following information: Course code, date of admission and your NTNU student number.
