Students will gain valuable insight into theoretical approaches and research methods, as well as a deeper knowledge of current research in the field, which will be useful as they embark on their own research for a master's thesis. The course is taught by alternating members of staff, and thus themed according to their current research topics: for instance, Climate Fiction, Production Studies, Genre Studies, Sound Studies, Media Ecology, or Mediated Representations of the Past.
