About the course
Course content
The subject is a general introduction to the essential
processes of life, based on principles from physics. Transport processes, structure and function of proteins and deoxyribonucleic acids and membrane processes will be discussed. A few measurement techniques will also be covered.
Learning outcome
An introduction to aspects of modern biophysics.

Lectures, laboratory- and calculus excercises using EXCEL.

Recommended previous knowledge
Knowledge of elementary physics corresponding to one year study of physics.
