Course - Process Mineralogy - GB8402
Process Mineralogy
About
About the course
Course content
Assessment and quantification of mineralogy, mineral chemistry and texture. Relationship between the primary properties of minerals end their behaviour in the mineral processes and in mineral products. Laboratory work includes microscopic studies, SEM studies, EPMA, XRD, different methods to determine grain size, shape, specific surface and other important parameters determining the material properties of mineral products.
Learning outcome
Aim: The candidate shall be able to carry out advanced processmineralogiacl studies to determine the potential for producing valuable products of minerals
