About the course

Course content

There is special emphasis on how glaciers erode bedrock, deposit loose material and create landforms, as well as how different landforms reveal information about climate in the past.

Learning outcome

The course aims to provide knowledge of the development of the Norwegian physical landscape, with emphasis on the significance of climatic changes, ice ages and processes linked to glaciers.

Learning methods and activities

Teaching method and activities: 24 hours lectures, 4 hours seminars.
