About the course
Course content
Emphasis is placed on how processes related to frost, slopes and running water contribute to the development of landforms and have applied relevance concerning, for example, landslides, intervention in watercourses, and problems relating to flooding. The course combines theoretical and methodological approaches through an obligatory field course. The field course provides training in planning and carrying out fieldwork, data analysis, and also oral and written presentation. Based on collected field data, written reports are prepared either individually or in groups, and these are presented orally towards the end of the course.

The course aims to provide knowledge on processes related to frost, slopes and running water.

Teaching method and activities: 24 hours lectures, 4 hours seminars.
Field course: 5 days.
