About the course

Course content

The course studies central themes in physical geography research theory and method. The main theme varies from year to year, depending on the Department’s current research activities and prevalent theoretical issues. Candidates who have not taken this foundation course should attend the GEOG 3509 lectures and read the course literature. GEOG8509 is a reading course and the reading list will be decided upon individually. The paper can be handed in, in either English or Norwegian.

The course aims at providing candidates with high competence on central themes in physical geography research theory and method.
