Course content
The world economy is increasingly globalised. This course focuses on key features in the international economic system. The emphasis will be on the global monetary system or the development of multinational companies. The course will cover the development from the liberal pre-1914-era, the deglobalisation in the interwar years, the embedded liberalism in the post-war decades and the present neoliberal economic system.
