About the course
Course content
The course is a review of theories of sports, focusing upon the individuals,groups and onganizations. The course deals with the individuals roles in society, organisational aspects of sports and the connection between personal factors and society. The course will discuss the recent research and research projects in progress concerning these topics.
Learning outcome
The course aims to give students knowledge about the possibilities and challenges in sports related to identity, interaction and coping in a social psychological perspective.
Learning methods and activities
Teaching method and activities: Lectures and seminars, equivalent to 6 hours per week, supervision of the essays. The essays must be approved. Form of assessment is a 6 hours written exam.
