About the course

Course content

The course continues to develop and deepen the learning material from SOS3005. The course provides a deeper understanding of regression analysis with emphasis on multivariate and logistic regression analysis. Moreover, emphasis is placed on understanding the assumptions for regression analysis and how the results from the regression analysis can be produced graphically. The course will also include a portion of the index structures and factor analysis.

Learning outcome

The course builds on SOS3005 and will make the student able to analyze data from the sport and society by using advanced statistical methods.
