About the course

Course content

Introduction to document-based information and the use of collections as a basis for information management within companies as well in a global context. Web-based information is central. Students learn how to design and create information, the use of identifiers, metadata and classification based on selected standards and systems. Furthermore, the course discusses information quality and national laws and international agreements for copyright (IPR) with a particular focus on digital information; and systems for rights management.
