About the course

Course content

In this course, students will work in groups to carry out a software project. The department will present a list of available projects. Students are required to work on their project and to attend common activities and supervision meetings. The results from each phase must be clearly documented in the mid-term and final report. Students have to register for the course in the usual way and participate to an introduction meeting.

Learning outcome

Key objectives of this course are gaining practical experience in GROUP-ORIENTED software engineering for a customer, covering the whole life-cycle of a software project.

Learning methods and activities

Work in group, study of articles, weekly status reports. During the semester all the groups must deliver a mid-term progress report that must be approved. The students participate in the evaluation of the mid-term reports. Projects must be presented orally after delivery.
