About the course

Course content

Analysis of contingency tables for independent and for paired data. Analysis of variance ( one way and two way analysis, non-parametical methods), simple and multiple linear regression, correlation, analysis of survival analysis, logistic regression.

Learning outcome

The aim of the course is to teach the student knowledge of statistics within the course contents.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures and excercises. Exercises must be passed before admission to examination. The examination may change to an oral exam if few students register.

Required previous knowledge

Master degree or similar. Medical students at The Student Research Programme. Candidates with a lower degree will be assessed individually.
