About the course

Course content

The course is given every year.
The course consists of four parts: Part 1: Plantwide control with emphasis on the structural decision: what to control, measure and pairing.
Part 2: Tuning, structure and monitoring of the base control layer. Part 3: Multivariable control, including model based predictive control (MPC).
Part 4: Controllability analysis of multivariable systems.

Learning methods and activities

The course will be taught in English if there are english-speaking students.
