About the course

Course content

The course is given biannually, next time spring 2012.
The course gives a fundamental understanding of material properties of paper. Central topics are how the material properties of paper are influenced by raw materials and the production process. How paper properties affect the end use characteristics like printability, absorption and converting of paper is also central. The course shall give an overview of the new research within paper physics and paper chemistry. The detailed content of the course will partly be decided depending on the interest of the candidates.
