About

About the course

Course content

The course is given in the spring term every year. Description of the pertinent transport processes for mass-, heat- and momentum with focus on modelling of flow phenomena. The coupling between kinetics, mass- and heat transfer processes, and flow phenomena within single phase stirred tank-, fluidized bed-, gas/liquid- and slurry reactors will bli discussed.

Learning outcome

The aim is to enhance the basic understanding of the pertinent transport processes for mass-, heat- and momentum with emphasis on the modelling of flow phenomena, to make the students able to develop more fundamental and physically realistic models for different types of single- and multiphase reactors.
