Course content
Materials models and descriptions of creep and shrinkage in concrete with the effects of materials composition, hardening conditions and environmental conditions. Simplified and more advanced solution methods for stress calculations.
Learning outcome
To understand the effects of creep, shrinkage and temperature variations in concrete structures, and to be able to use it in advanced calculations.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and excercises. The lectures and exercises are in English when students who do not speak Norwegian take the course.
