Course content
The course deals with issues related to art, architecture, and visual media in the 20th and 21th century. Students will receive academic specialization within a given topic in modern and contemporary art, and gain insight into theories and methods that are relevant to the topic.

Students will receive academic specialization in a given topic within modern and contemporary art, and gain insight into theories and methods that are relevant to the given topic.

Lectures and seminars.
Compulsory assignment:
Students must pass an oral presentation with written documentation before final assessment can be made.
More on assessment: The final assessment is based on a one-week take-home examination in 4000 - 5000 words. The examination is given a letter grade.
Students are required to check the result of their assignment on the department's bulletin boards.
Students are required to stay updated on any information given by the department or course director; either via It's learning, Innsida, course pages on the web, or on bulletin boards.
