About the course

Course content

Preservation of old buildings is central to cultural heritage work Conflicts often arise on questions of preservation. Better knowledge of the buildings history is important in such questions. This course provides help for those who want to go to the archives and study buildingshistory. The course is divided in two parts: a general part providing knowledge on sources to buildingshistory, and a project work connected to specific buildings.

Learning outcome

Achieve knowledge on sources to the history of buildings, and experience in using such sources.

Project work. Further information will be given at the beginning of the semester.

Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage or equivalent approved education.
