The course offers students the opportunity to study of a specific genre, epoch or author of the student’s own choice.



Learning outcome

Students are to choose an area from the discipline, create their own curriculum and write a paper based on the study of Latin texts in the original. The proficiency in independent work with Latin texts will be increased, and the students have opportunities to get further into fields of their own interest.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures, seminars, tutoring. The students choose an area from the discipline, create their own curriculum and write a paper based on the study of Latin texts in the original.
The paper should contain the student's own translation of the Latin texts, with commentaries on the translation.

None

Curriculum of the student's own choice. Non-literary texts may be included.
