Course content
This course offers students an opportunity to develop a self-designed course with the approval of the institute, to explore topics not covered by regular offerings.
Learning outcome
The course will give the students the possibility to explore a limited field in linguistics, and give a greater understanding and experience in ways to work with different linguistic problems.
Learning methods and activities
Self-directed study, with instructor supervision.
Assessment: Assignment with supervision. The size of the term paper depends partly on the subject, but is usually between 10-20 typed A4-pages (line spacing 1.5).
Recommended previous knowledge
Bachelor's degree with a Major in Linguistics.
