Course content
The course will be given each fourth year if enough students register for the course, next time Spring 2013. If there are few students registered, the course may be given as a guided self-study.
The course will include modular representation theory, character theory, the theory for vertices and sources and Brauer correspondence.

Relevant background for the course is MA3201, Rings and Modules and MA3202, Commutative Algebra and Galois Theory.
