About the course
Course content
The course is taught every second year, next time Spring 2012, assuming that there are enough students. It there are too few students, there will be guided self study.
The content can vary, but there will be a core containing algebras given by quiver, representations of quivers, almost split sequences, Brauer Thrall 1, classification of hereditary algebras of finite type, functor categories, tilting theory for artin algebras.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures, alternatively guided self-studiy.
Recommended previous knowledge
The course is based on MA3202 Ring theory and MA3204 Homological algebra.
