About the course
Course content
The third year is more clinical focused than the first two years. The semester called IIA includes subjects like: The eye; the ear, nose and throat; neurology and neurosurgery; geriatrics; infections; physical medicine and rehabilitation; radiology; oncology (cancer medicine). The other semester, called IIB, is more focused on surgery and internal medicine. Subjects in this term: The heart; the vascular system; the blood; the lungs and airways; the digestive system. More pathology, pharmacology and oncology are tought corresponding with the organ systems.
