Course content

The cource will give an insight in
-The role and use of health data, information and knowledge during provision of health care by health personnel.
-Rules and regulations for use of health information
- Systems to support flow of health data, information and knowledge.

Learning methods and activities

30 lectures in two semesters, 20 hours of problem-based learning

Compulsory assignments

  • Participating in PBL groups, 4 reports have to be submitted

Required previous knowledge

Health personnel: Education at masters level or above.

Non health personnel: Education at masters level or above + completed "MFEL1010 Medisin for ikke-medisinere" or equivalent introduction to medicine and healthcare.
