Course content

The subject will focus on one or more of the following areas; rapid prototyping, cast simulations, CAD/CAM, continuous improvements in foundries.

Learning outcome

Give knowledge and insight of modern foundry managment and product development.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures, teamwork, practical casting and self-tuition and literature review. The grade will be based 100% on a written report.
