About the course
Course content
The master's thesis is a project work that gives 30 credits. The project will usually be part of an ongoing research project related to nanomedicine / nanotechnology at the Faculty of Medicine. Emphasize will be on learning to work systematically within the field of research, and that the student learns to aquire detailed knowledge within the field with the use of literature and practical work.
Learning outcome
The student shall learn to study a specific topic within a chosen field of research with the use of scientific work methods. This means for example to collect the necessary konowledge through literature studies and other types of sources and combine this with the student's excisting knowledge. Furthermore the student will do an independent work of considerable size. This includes to draw up a project plan with milestones, the report of results along the way and finally to write a master's thesis in accordance with the standards of academic writing.
