About the course
Course content
The course aims to mirror music's various means of expression and ability to cross borders of time and genre through performances. Improvisation is essential.
Learning outcome
The course will stimulate and develop the students musical intuition and ability to express themselves through awareness of and practice in the basic musical elements of melody, rhythm, sound, harmony, and form.
Learning methods and activities
1.5 hours of group instruction a week for 27 weeks.
Compulsory assignments
- Satisfactory participation in compulsory instruction

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Musikk, utøvende (BMUSP)
Required previous knowledge
Requires passed MUSP4122 or corresponding course.
