About the course
Course content
The course offers students an in-depth study of a limited stylistic area, composer, or genre connected to the student's principal instrument. The course includes learning essential compositions and the evaluation of theoretical and analytical studies with respect to style and variations of interpretation. Students learn mainly through independent study.
Learning outcome
The course will develop the student's sense of a selected style, genre, composer etc. and create a broad, solid foundation for interpretation and communication in the student's performing work.
Learning methods and activities
Individual lectures - 15 lessons in total.
Tutoring on writing assignments - maximum 7 lessons.
The assessment is devided into three partsm a concert, a written assignemnt and a lecture.
Written assignment: Scope: about 20 typed A4 pages with 1.5 spacing, type size 12, and standard margins. Example notes and illustrations are in addition to this.
Compulsory assignments

Requires passed MUSP4133 or corresponding course.
