About the course
Course content
Individual instruction, independent training. In addition the student must participate as a soloist or with chamber-music in a minimum of two public concerts, including one concert organised by Department of music. The course also includes ensemble- and accompaniment practice. Organ improvisation- cadences, modulations, thorough bass, free improvisation.
Physiology:
The course is comprised of health science, physiology, strain prevention measures and relaxation, concentration and warm-up exercises. Performance preparations are also addressed.
Learning outcome
The learning objective is to perform and communicate organ music at a high level.
Learning methods and activities
Individual instruction - 1 hour pr. week for 27 weeks
Interpretation - 2 hours per week for 20 weeks in groups.Compulsory course in Organ Improvisation: Individual instruction- 1 hour pr week for 27 weeks.
Project - various instruction.
Compulsory course in Physiology:
Individual training, lectures and groups - 1 hour for 27 weeks.
