Course content

Individual lessons and independent work on the instrument. In addition the student must participate as a soloist or with chamber-music in a minimum of three public concerts, including one concert organised by Department of music. The course also includes ensemble- and accompaniment practice.

Learning outcome

The individual instruction should, in addition to the development of skills and knowledge of a varied repertoire, focus on promoting the artistic and personal abilities of the student as musician.

Learning methods and activities

Individual instruction - 1 hour pr. week for 27 weeks.
Interpretation - Two 1- hour groups for 20 weeks.
Project - various instruction.

Program for the examination concert and the studied repertoire (min 300 minutes) must be delivered before April 1st.

Compulsory assignments

• Satisfactory participation in compulsory instruction

Requires passed MUSP4530 or corresponding course.
