The course examines questions related to the role and function of music and the musician in society.
Learning outcome
The student is to develop reflection and awareness of how music relates to and is beeing used to different aspects of contemporary society.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures, seminars and individual guidance in writing the paper, whith containes of 5-10 A4 pages.
Compulsory assignments
