Course content

The course should be integrated into the student's field of intermediate study. Through performances, the course attempts to reflect the personal expression of the student on the principal instrument by offering training and improvisation related to the basic musical elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, metre and timbre.

The course is designed in such a way that at least 3 students must be registered for the course for it to be taught.

Learning outcome

The course is meant to stimulate and develop the student's aural abilities with respect to the development of her/ his personal musical expression.

Required previous knowledge

Requires admission to the Master's programme in Music Performance Studies.
