About the course
Course content
The course deals with different aspects of chamber orchestra playing, such as individal preparations, rehearsal situations, musical score understanding and group management.
Learning outcome
The student should develop an understanding of the inner dynamics of the chamber orchestra, and discover the fine balance between individual and collective initiative.
Learning methods and activities
10 hours individual instruction and group instruction. About 6 chamber orchestra projects in a total of 150-200 hours work, including group rehearsels, independent work. This subject is a collaboration with the chamber orchestra Trondheim Soloists.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Musikk, utøvende (MMUSP)
Required previous knowledge
Requires admission to the Master's programme in Music Performance Studies and a qualifying audition.
