About the course
Course content
The contents of this course will have a connection to both the student's chosen topic for the postgraduate study, and the compulsory courses. This course has an academic content that utilises auxiliary sciences such as musicology, sociology of music, psychology of music and the psychology of communication.
Learning outcome
Through a study of the view on music, man and society the students are going to develop the ability to reflect upon the music pedagogy challenges in our time.
Learning methods and activities
Group instruction and individual tutoring. Seminars with focus on topics of particular interest and relevance for the students.
Compulsory assignments
- Satisfactory participation in compulsory instruction

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Musikk, utøvende (MMUSP)
Required previous knowledge
Requires admission to the Master's programme in Music Performance Studies. Completed teacher education.
