Learning outcome

Through work with the topic, the student is expected to further develop her/his competence to an advanced level within the chosen topic of concentrated study.

Learning methods and activities

This subject is for the first and fourth semester. Forms of instruction and activities vary according to the theme and character of the chosen topic for the student's in-depth study. Each student/ensemble will be assigned an academic supervisor for the entire period of the study. Concerts/projects: The student must offer at least one Master's degree concert, or some other production during the first semester. Final exams is a concert at the end of the fourth semester.

Specific conditions

Required previous knowledge

Requires admission to an international Jazz Master.
The applicants must write a plan for the study (one page), and the complete plan must be delivered before October 1st in the first semester.
