About the course

Course content

The course focuses on an understanding of global processes of change, in relation to folk music, art music, jazz and pop music.




Learning outcome

The objective of the course is to provide an introduction to a selection of global music cultures, and to create an understanding of these based on theories of globalisation and musicological analysis.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures. The examination essay should have a maximum length of 20 pages (typed 1,5/12)
