The topic can be from all parts of musicology, such as ethnomusicology, folk music, popular music, music in movies, history of music, music pedagogy and so forth. The topics offered will vary from semester to semester.

Forms are available at the Department. The paper for the home examination has a maximum length of 20 typed pages (1.5, 12pkt).
