Genre and Rhetoric
About
About the course
Course content
Similar as as NORD1104, except that students taking the course with a 'NORX' course code will not have to write the obligatory assignment. They are, however exempted from the language requirement, and will not have to demonstrate mastery in both 'bokmål' and 'nynorsk'. Also, the difference between the demands to correct use of the Norwegian language between 'NORX' courses and ordinary 'NORD' courses is explained in the text about Scandinavian studies in the course catalogue for 2010/2011 (In Norwegian: 'Studiehandboka 2010/2011').
Students will set up their own reading list with 5 longer epical or dramatical texts, and a relevant theoretical work. Alternatively, studens may set up their own reading list with 10 shorter epical texts and 15 lyrical texts, or instead 50 pages essayistics, in addition to a relevant theoretical text.
