Course content
Same as NORD1106, except that 'NORX' students will not have to write the obligatory assignment, and are exempted from the language requirement, and will not have to demonstrate mastery in both 'bokmål' and 'nynorsk'. Also, the difference between the demands to correct use of the Norwegian language between 'NORX' courses and ordinary 'NORD' courses is explained in the text about Scandinavian studies in the course catalogue for 2010/2011 (In Norwegian: 'Studiehandboka 2010/2011').
Learning outcome
Same as NORD1106.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and groupwork.
The students attend the lectures and read the same curriculum as the students in NORD1106.
Exam: Oral examination (30 minutes). Students may bring an Old Norse dictionary, an outline of Old Norse declination and a list of important dates in the history of language to the oral exam.

The student should have Scandinavian Studies as their subject from their home institution.
