About the course

Course content

Emphasis will be put on understanding the conditions for learning and development and an owerview of themes illuminating this will be given. Questions on how to adjust to good childhood- and learning environments will be emphasised. Attention will be paid to schools and the society; how one can organize learning and forms of working and schooling. The course is obligatory in order to achieve full specialisation in education studies.

Learning outcome

The aim of the course is to provide insight into topics that are important in understanding and adjusting learning and development in children, adolescents and adults.

Learning methods and activities

4 hours of lectures per week, 2 hours seminar per week. Seminar in academic writing.
Form of assessment: 6-hour individual written exam.
