About the course
Course content
The aim of the course is to promote knowledge about central theories in counselling, based on existential-humanistic, cognitive-behavioural and psycho-dynamic perspectives. The focus will be on an individually based counselling perspective with group and environmental variables as background. Teaching is both theoretical and practical.
Learning outcome
The aim of the course is to provide an introduction to counselling as a research area that provides a basis for the remainder of courses on counselling.
Learning methods and activities
The Course has the same content as PED3031, but is adapted to the programme in Teacher Education including a M.A in Counselling.
