Course content
Principles and philosophy behind building a knowledge model within a subject (ontology engineering); Principles and methods behind existing tool for Case Based Reasoning (CBR); Method and modelling of specific knowledge (cases); Use of general and specific knowledge for solving problems, planning and for learning.
Learning outcome
Enable PhD-students to model knowledge and to develop their own systems for experience transfer.
Learning methods and activities
Collocvium, discussions, small projects. Each student will build his/her own domain model, own cases (minimum 5 with different but related content). Matching between new and existing cases will be tested.

MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering or approval by lecturer.
