About the course

Course content

We consider the factors that are relevant when companies evaluate the political risks of investments. The most important data bases and other sources of information that provide companies with information on political risks of investments will be covered and a number of case studies will be discussed.

Learning outcome

To give the students an overview of the relevant political risks when companies make their investment decisions.

Learning methods and activities

2 hours of lectures per week and supervison of project work.
Compulsory activity: Approved term paper (3000 words/8 pages).
Form of assessment: 3 hours written exam.
