About the course

Course content

The course analyzes political decision-making processes using perspectives from economics and political science.

Learning outcome

The purpose is to give the students knowledge of theories and models that describe political decision-making processes. The students shall acquire knowledge of election models, interest group models, and models of bureaucracy.

Learning methods and activities

2 hours of lectures every week and 2 hours of exercises every second week. Compulsory activity: One approved term paper. The term paper can be written as a joint project by up to four students.
