About the course
Course content
The course provides an introduction to political economy. This field of study is in rapid change, and may be simply defined as the study of the interconnection of markets and states on an international level. This topic will be studied both by use of theoretical models and empirical investigations.
Learning outcome
To introduce the students to the field of international political economy.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures/group discussions. Supervision of term paper. The essay is to be an independent discussion of a topic taught in lectures, and is to consist of 20 pages.
Required previous knowledge
Masters degree in Political Science or equivalent
