About the course

Course content

Social Psychology is the scientific study of how humans think and the influences on them and relationships with each other as well as insights on how social and cultural factors shape the individual.

Learning outcome

Give students knowledge of how we experience and evaluate ourselves and others. It also concerns the relationship between behavior and attitudes, how prejudices are formed, why we are sometimes hurtful towards others and at other times helpful to each other. The course gives students insight into the methods which are used in the field of social psychology.

Learning methods and activities

Teaching method and activities: Lectures 2 hours per week, seminars, colloquium.
