About the course
Course content
Work and Organizational Psychology includes a wide spectrum of themes such as learning and development within organizations, group processes, leadership, conflict resolution and cooperation. Themes also include the psychosocial work environment, work motivation, job satisfaction, absence due to illness, stress and the meaning of work within psychological health, professional careers, recruiting and unemployment. This course covers a range of the research which has been carried out by employees of the Department in this subject area. Actual problem situations and work life from discussions of training to work applications or through studies at the work place are certain to be taken up in this course.
Learning outcome
The course gives knowledge on the important trends in the work and organizational aspects of life today, and insights into how empirical data is understood in a scientific way.

Teaching method and activities: Lectures, seminars and supervision, assignments and colloquiums.
The course is reserved for students admitted to a particular programme. Exchange students interested in the course must consult the Department for possible admission.
