Learning methods and activities

Form of teaching: Self study under supervision.
Form of evaluation: Master thesis either in the form of article(s) or a monograph, together with an oral exam.

The thesis will be the main foundation for the final evaluation. In addition, there will be an oral exam consisting of two parts; oral presentation and questioning. Together, the evaluation of these will be used to adjust the grade given to the written thesis. The oral presentation of the master thesis will be open to all, but it is not permitted to ask any questions in connection to this presentation. The questioning will follow directly after the presentation and for this part only the evaluation committee will be present.

In addition to regular exam registration, the students are to announce the delivery of their Master`s Thesis on a specific formular, not later than 8 weeks before submission. The Master`s Thesis must be submitted in six copies. Deadline for submission is May 15th if the student wants the final examination result registered before the end of the spring semester.
